Writes them, sings them, and runs the band from the piano bench with the mic at his elbow. Kicks the bench back for maybe three songs a night, and everybody in the room knows which three.

The Author

Todd Baier

Todd Baier is a Navy veteran, a retired mailman, and a songwriter with a catalog north of a hundred songs. He lives on Lake Tawakoni about an hour east of Dallas, where he kayaks, keeps a garden, and writes most of it down eventually. Fletch Morgan's Chaos Band is his first novel.

The songs in this book are his songs. They were written over twenty-five years, long before anybody named Fletch turned up to sing them.
